In 1976, the success of the four-way lock spread worldwide when marketing efforts expanded globally. With the company’s rapid expansion, Mul-T-Lock expanded its manufacturing plant and by 1982, the company had greatly increased its product line to include a wide range of High Security cylinders, locks and accessories. To support the company’s growth and reach, Mul-T-Lock opened its first sales division in the US in 1987 together with opening of a second manufacturing plant in Israel.

In the years that followed, Mul-T-Lock has further expanded its global reach; with European sales units and its entrance into the Asia Pacific market. It also began to broaden its operations by manufacturing automatic key-cutting and assembly machines for external customers.

From our founding nearly five decades ago, Mul-T-Lock has maintained a strong commitment to innovation through R&D, design and manufacturing excellence. We’ve applied it to the development of hundreds of High Security locking solutions — many of them patented — and as we’ve brought smart electromechanical solutions and leveraged today’s digital technology to address our markets’ needs.

The Mul-T-Lock brand continues to strengthen throughout the world with the help of our distribution network in approximately 80 countries.
