Mobile Virtual Credentials
Openow for SMARTair is the intelligent solution for secure mobile access control. With Openow for iOS and Android, your mobile phone becomes a secure virtual key that uses a smartphone app to open doors with BLE. Facility managers update virtual keys over-the-air from anywhere — eliminating delays in issuing new credentials or revoking lost ones, while protecting information exchanges by end-to-end encryption. Users also save time, as all valid keys immediately appear on your smartphone. To unlock a SMARTair-protected door, users simply tap the phone against a reader.
Physical credentials
Encrypted SMARTair credentials come in many formats and are available for all standard RFID technologies, including iCLASS®, MIFARE® Classic or DESFire® and SKIDATA. Multiple credential types are supported, including cards, tags, bracelets and stickers, all of which are easy to update and cancel, saving time and money. It is easy to program the same SMARTair access credential for use with vending machines, student library loan systems, or a staff canteen. Card printers can customize cards with your brand or image.
Electronic Escutcheon i-max
Tough and elegant, the SMARTair electronic escutcheon blends with any environment, regardless of the building’s style or type. Available in multiple finishes, it is designed for installations that must combine a high degree of mobility with demanding security.
Electronic Lock: SMARTair i-volution
Robust locking for maximum security is integrated with a sleek, modern design to create the perfect lock for sophisticated spaces. The SMARTair Electronic Lock offers the benefits of our Escutcheon, but with secure elements housed inside the lock itself.
Here are some of its prominent features:
- The lock includes sensors which monitor and report when a door is left open or closed incorrectly or when an attempted intrusion is detected
- You may choose any DIN-compliant handle to operate your new lock

Electronic padlock i-gate
A wireless, electronic IP68 padlock, built for trusted security in the harshest conditions - the SMARTair ePadlock adds electronic access control - offline or wireless online -to almost any non-standard opening. Ideal for exterior, non-electrified gates and fences, interior closets, cupboards and cabinets, and anywhere currently secured by padlocks. Installation is easy, with no drilling or wiring required. Use is equally straightforward: RFID and BLE-enabled, i-gate Padlock can be opened with standard RFID credentials or by a mobile key stored on a smartphone.
Wall Reader
The SMARTair Wall Reader adapts to any electrical opening. It is an electronic locking device for automatic doors, turnstiles, boom barriers, lifts and any other opening automated with electric or electromagnetic components. We also offer a custom solution for lifts that controls access to 40 floors in your building.
All SMARTair products are compatible with all of SMARTair’s flexible management systems. SMARTair devices also work with every major RFID technology, including MIFARE® Classic and DESFire®, iCLASS® from HID and SKIDATA.

SMARTair Cabinet Lock
This lock with integrated RFID reader is built for healthcare facilities, student dorms and anywhere else robust lockers are required. It integrates seamlessly with your installed SMARTair system.
SMARTair cabinet locks secure lockers, drawers, cupboards and cabinets. This lock is an integrated access control lock and reader with LED (green/red signal) and 1cm read/write distance. All control elements, including the batteries, are on the inside, for greater security and protection against vandalism.
While the locker is not in use, its knob turns freely to prevent the lock being forced. On presentation of an authorized credential, the locker opens. Scheduling automatic opening at specific times is also possible.

SMARTair® i-max
A robust wireless device to bring secure RFID and BLE unlocking to every high-traffic door. i-max, an electronic escutcheon is easy to retrofit and compatible with Standalone, UOC, online or offline system management.
Application
SMARTair i-max comes in a variety of finishes and with a slimline design to fit every building style and scheme. Different models of handles and antibacterial surface for healthcare applications are available.

The SMARTair Wall Reader is a unique and elegant access control solution designed for simple installation and operation.
The Wall Reader operates magnet locks, electric strike or electronic locks. All the control elements are on the inside of the door to enhance security.

A wireless, electronic IP68 padlock, built for trusted security in the harshest conditions. Your premises can benefit from modern security and real-time access control — outside and inside.
The new SMARTair® i-gate Padlock is a battery powered locking device improved in every way. As well as resistance to physical attack, it has an external cover which is watertight and protects against any weather.
Easily installed, with no drilling or wiring required. Use is straightforward: RFID and BLE-enabled, i-gate Padlock can be opened with standard RFID credentials or by a mobile key stored on a smartphone. Power is supplied by standard batteries with a long lifetime.
To upgrade an existing mechanical padlock, simply swap it for the SMARTair® i-gate Padlock to control and monitor the opening from your existing SMARTair® access system. You can move an i-gate Padlock wherever and whenever you need.
The SMARTair® i-gate Electronic Padlock comes in a contemporary black finish with stainless steel shackle. It is suited locking exterior, non-electrified gates; interior cupboards and cabinets; and anywhere else currently secured by mechanical padlock.

SMARTair® i-volution Electronic Lock
SMARTair i-volution is built for doors with high daily traffic and a large number of access events. It is perfect where the familiar, convenient features of an electromechanical lock are required, including door position monitoring.
Combine the powerful access control of an electronic escutcheon with the intelligence and superior of an electromechanical mortise lock. Use with a wide variety of handles, RFID technology or SMARTair management system.
Part of the SMARTair wireless access control product range, the device incorporates:
- an external reader with LED, available in several colours;
- the internal control and battery-powered RF module; and
- the battery-powered electromechanical mortise lock.
These three principal components are supplied together. You may choose any DIN-compliant handle to operate your new lock.
The lock includes sensors which monitor and report when a door is left open or closed incorrectly, or when an attempted intrusion is detected. You can install an additional mechanical cylinder (optional), to unlock the door quickly and manually in any emergency. If you do, SMARTair Lock sensors also register any locking/unlocking event via mechanical key.
The new lock works seamlessly with every SMARTair management option: Standalone, Update-on-Card, Wireless Online and Openow. It recognizes standard RFID technologies (MIFARE® Classic) and mobile access control solutions such as Openowä and the SMARTair Remote app.

SMARTair® Knob Cylinder
Function
The SMARTair Knob Cylinder is an easy-to-use, simple-to-install, and highly effective electronic cylinder that can be integrated with other SMARTair locking elements − escutcheons, wall readers, e-motion − in one Access Control system managed by SMARTair Software.
The Knob Cylinder is upgradable from Standalone to Offline/Update-On-Card and/or Wireless, making it the perfect solution for both new and retrofit installations.The SMARTair knob cylinder world-class design is robust and resistant. The knob cylinder comes in more finishes and colors, upgrading aesthetics and functionality in equal measure. Suitable for any door, it quickly upgrades your existing mechanical cylinder to a real-time access-controlled cylinder – without any drilling or wiring at the door.

Application
